The Council on Accreditation (COA) is Coming October 1!

This means using the right elements for success. Let’s review the Enterprise Image key components:

  • Organized and clean workspace
  • Appropriate work attire
  • Knowledge and understanding of our mission (Four Oaks and Family Resources)
  • Share Four Oaks, Family Resources and Jane Boyd’s impact on the community

Clean and organized workspace

Bees are meticulously clean and keep their hive in order - especially when their hive grows to more than 60,000 bees! In the same way, we need to prep for the COA visit and ensure workspaces are organized and clean. Whether you work in residential care, afterschool programming or at a desk, be sure your space is ready for visitors.

Appropriate work attire
Take pride in your appearance. Make sure your clothing is appropriate and follows our employee conduct and appearance guidelines. Just like in a beehive, we all have different roles within the enterprise and appropriate attire will vary. For staff working directly with kids, it may mean a Four Oaks, Family Resources or Jane Boyd t-shirt; for AHNI staff, it may mean work boots and jeans. Regardless of your role, be aware that your appearance makes an impression on supporters and community members.

Knowledge and understanding of Four Oaks’ mission
Four Oaks assures children become successful adults.

Knowledge and understanding of Family Resources’ mission

To strengthen children, families and individuals by providing quality services that engage community resources to create effective solutions.

As an Enterprise, we believe that each child deserves the opportunity to be successful. Whether you work directly with kids or in business services, achieving our mission means working with pride so that every child we help knows YOU believe in his or her success. "Bee" watching your inbox each Thursday until the COA visit for important updates and information you will need to prepare for this visit! More information about the kick off and wrap up gatherings on Monday, Oct. 1 and Wednesday, Oct. 3 will also be available.

Overall, the team from COA is here to assure we are living our mission and serving our kids. We have a lot to be proud of at Four Oaks. This is your time to shine! Share your passion for the work you do each day by demonstrating everything you do to assure children become successful adults.

Thank you for all that you do to make the Four Oaks enterprise successful!
