What is After School Program (ASP)?
ASP is an enrichment program that provides constructive activities for students when get out of school for the day. In addition to tutoring and homework help, our youth participate in a number of activities, including healthy cooking classes, character building curriculum that encourages positive youth development and programs that explore performing and visual art.
When is After School Program?
Mondays - Fridays beginning August 30, 2010 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
How old must my child be to enroll?
1st - 6th grade program starts on
August 30
Do you
have ASP for 7th & 8th graders?
Yes, beginning on October 5.
From which schools will children be picked up and taken to Jane Boyd?
Johnson, Polk, Arthur, Wilson, McKinley, Franklin, Grant Wood and Erskine
Which days provide full-day programming because of holiday breaks?
November 22, 23
December 23, 24, 28, 29, 30
March 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
How much does ASP cost for the school year?
$100 for 1st child, $50 for 2nd child and $25 for every additional child
When is payment due?
Fall session is due by September 14. Spring session is due by January 3.
What is Open Enrollment and how much does it
cost?
Open Enrollment is full-day
programming provided during holiday breaks to students that
are not enrolled in the After School Program. It costs $10
per day or $25 for a full week. Open Enrollment is provided
December 23, 24, 28, 29 & 30 and March 21, 22, 23, 24 & 25.
